Textpattern implements the MetaWeblog API with the only exception of the method metaWeblog.newMediaObject.
Implementation of categories could be considered multiple, since Textpattern will accept a maximum of two categories for each article. If more categories are provided, they will by simply ignored due to obvious reasons.
Some of the MetaWeblog API methods use an struct – which holds the article contents – with the next structure:
- categories: array with two elements:
- string, first article category, if any
- string, second article category, if any
- description: string, the article contents
- userid: string, the user nickname
- postid: string, the article ID
- dateCreated: article creation date, containing the values:
- year
- month
- day
- hour
- minute
- second
- link: string, article url
- permaLink:string, same as link
- title: string, the article title
